Klamath County Commissioner Bill Brown is convalescing at home after suffering a heart attack Friday.
Brown was feeling ill and went to the hospital.
“It couldn’t have happened at a better place,” said his wife Dawnn Brown. “We had gone to the hospital because he was having chest pains, and he had a heart attack while we there.”
Dawnn Brown said the commissioner is doing well and is under care of physicians at Klamath Heart Clinic.
He is expected to return to work in about three weeks. Brown was elected county commissioner in November 2004.
“We want to wish everyone Merry Christmas and remind them to be thankful for all the blessings they have, as we are,” Dawnn said.
