"Below is my prayer request for Bob Woodman. It is what I would be saying at the funeral tomorrow if I could be there.

It was very difficult to write and so hard to have to say goodbye. Somehow it doesn't seem enough, probably because I want to fix it and can't."

To My Good Friend Bob and his Family & Friends

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, I ask you to surround Bob’s family and friends with your Spirit of Love and Comfort during these hard times as we remember Bob. Please especially Bless Velma, Vicki and Bob’s parents. Losing Bob is very difficult because we knew him so well as a good husband and friend for so many years. Bob was friendly, considerate and had a good heart. He would help anyone in need and was always there for his family. I loved Bob for what he was. Although Bob is gone physically from us, his spirit remains in our hearts.  Please continue to comfort us in the days ahead, give us the understanding and acceptance we need and guide us in our thoughts. Although we may never know the reason for this accident we trust Your plan for our lives and believe your Words that what we bind on earth will be bound in Heaven. Amen.

Paul L Patrick, Washington, was a classmate of Bob Woodman at Tulelake High School.
