THIRD ANNUAL A TASTE OF KLAMATH AT THE ROSS RAGLAND THEATER

KLAMATH FALLS, Or. -- Calling all Klamath Falls foodies! The Ross Ragland Theater and Cultural Center will host its third annual A Taste of Klamath from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 21.

Dozens of culinary delights, regional wines and microbrews will be offered by local businesses. More than 20 vendors will donate their specialties and time.

Proceeds will support The Ragland Scholarship Program for Low-Income

Youth and Families, which enables members of local low-income families to attend theater performances and participate in the theater's summer programs for youth.

"The event is going to be bigger and better than last year," said Chip

Massie of Antonio’s Cucina Italiana, one of the event’s participants and organizers. "The number of restaurants participating is growing, excitement and awareness within the community is growing and it’s very exciting."

The popular spring event will include music and a raffle. The raffle is for an entertainment basket valued at $1400. The basket includes Ragland season tickets and other entertainment and food-related prizes.

Ticket sales will be limited to 500 people. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Raffle tickets are $5/each of 5 for $20. Tickets are available by calling 884-LIVE or in person at the Ross Ragland Theater box office, which is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
