Sealed land bids due Wednesday March 9, 2005

Sealed bids for agricultural leasing of 27 parcels of federal lease land, totaling 4,450 acres, will be received until 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Klamath Basin area office of the Bureau of Reclamation.

A public bid opening will be held at the area office after 10 a.m. Wednesday. High bids should be announced at about 4:30 p.m.

Open for bid on the Lower Klamath federal lease lands in Oregon are: Area K - six grain lots, Area K - one grass hay/pasture lot.

Open for bid on the Tule Lake federal lease lands in California: Sump 2 - seven lots, Sump 3 - 13 lots.

Bidding instructions, lease information, a sample copy of the lease contract, location maps, and bid forms that must be used in submitting bids are available at the Bureau of Reclamation, Klamath Basin Area Office, 6600 Washburn Way, and at the Tulelake Irrigation District office in Tulelake.
