I notice from a website address e-mailed to me by a constituent
(http://thefishsniffer.com/klamathconference/index.html) that you and
Supervisor Jill Geist will be noted speakers at the "Klamath Basin
Restoration Conference - Status of the River and the Future of the
Klamath Basin" to be held in Fort Jones this Saturday. Fort Jones lies in my
Supervisorial District of Siskiyou County.

I am disappointed that the organizers excluded the Siskiyou County
Supervisors from such a significant event. In addition to being the
Supervisor for this District, I am also Siskiyou County's
representative on the Klamath River Fisheries Task Force. I received no invitation.

I am disappointed that the Supervisors of Humboldt County would be
speaking at such an exclusive conference, particularly when it is not being held
in your own County.

Marcia H. Armstrong
Siskiyou County Supervisor
District 5
