Great commentary
Herald and News 1/26/04

Doug Whitsett's commentary Jan. 19 on the biological opinions affecting the economic base of agriculture in the Upper Klamath Basin is one of the most accurate and understandable articles ever written on the subject.

The devastation and heartache caused by these wrong and biased opinions written by Dr. Thomas Hardy still make news throughout the world.

The question could be asked how can NOAA Fisheries, formerly known as National Marine Fisheries Service, be involved in an area which is 300 miles from the ocean and with no marine life?

Could NOAA's initials stand for "No American Agriculture?"
