Renewable Energy Conference Invitation 4/23/09

from Jennifer Simon, USDA Farm Service Agency Executive Director

USDA Rural Energy Programs, posted to KBC 4/14/09

Agenda > HERE

I would like to invite you to join a renewable energy conference that the USDA Rural Development is putting together on April 23'rd at OIT in Klamath Falls.  It will be held in Purvine Hall room # 206 starting at 9:00am . Individual Working Sessions will began after 1, designed to allow participates the opportunity to discuss projects individually with presenters.

This will be a great opportunity for anyone who may be interested in a renewable energy project.  Including geothermal, wind, solar , microhydro electrical generation, etc.  I have attached a fact sheet that will give you some idea of what they will be discussing.

This opportunity is not only for producers but for anyone in a rural community who may be interested in starting a new project or improving a current source of energy.  Please pass this information along to anyone who you feel may be interested.  Hopefully we will have a strong response to this conference so we may be able to offer other conferences or workshops in the future.
