Why give up tax revenue?
Herald and News posted to KBC 8/1/04

Once again ugliness has risen from the Cob energy facility. Not only are the rural people of Klamath County having the facility forced on them, but it is being done with the help of our local leaders.

Now we are going to be asked to give up enough tax revenue that could build our campus for the much-needed Klamath Community College. Are you people in Klamath County ready to turn the other cheek?

As for Bill Garrard's vocal back-pedaling: If he thinks his constituency is going to believe this ruse - good luck.
