Weekly counts reflect landings in that week and may include landings after a season closure. Catch and effort are reported by area of catch for all Oregon landings: Area 2 Columbia River Area – Includes effort and catch from Leadbetter Point, WA to Cape Falcon Area 3 Tillamook Area – Includes effort and catch from Cape Falcon to Cascade Head Area 4 Newport Area – Includes effort and catch from Cascade Head to Heceta Head Area 5 Coos Bay Area – Includes effort and catch from Heceta Head to Humbug Mountain Area 6 Brookings Area – Includes effort and catch from Humbug Mountain to Point St. George, CA Area 1 Washington Area – Includes effort and catch north of Leadbetter Pt., WA that was landed in Oregon Area 7 California Area – Includes effort and catch from south of Pt St. George, CA that was landed in Oregon Area 8 Alaska Area – Includes effort and catch in Alaska that was landed in Oregon *Area is currently closed to commercial salmon fishing ** Area not open for commercial coho salmon You can view these and other ocean salmon reports on our website http://www.dfw.state.or.us/MRP/salmon/catchindex.html
