TRIBES AND FARMERS CONTINUE TO PUSH FOR KLAMATH SOLUTION
Tribes and farmers hold strategy summit, continue working together to solve common problems
WHAT: Tribes and Irrigators hold informal press conference to discuss Klamath Restoration Agreement and commitment to work together to solve Klamath Crisis.
WHERE: Karuk Tribal Housing Community Center, Dove Lane, Yreka, CA. (From Main Street Yreka take Oberlin Road East. Cross railroad tracks and turn right on Campbell Road. Go five blocks and turn right on Dove Lane. In less than a mile you will see the new Karuk Community Center on your right.)
WHEN: Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 5 p.m.
WHO: Participants will include council and staff from the Karuk, Yurok, and Klamath Tribes and the Klamath Water Users’ Association.
