Thursday 8/5/10 – TOWN HALL MEETING featuring new candidates

On Thursday, August 5 from 7 PM to 9 PM there will be a town hall meeting, open to the public, featuring new candidates for City Council and   County Commissioner offices. The format will be a short presentation by each of the candidates and then a moderated question-and-answer session, with concluding remarks from each candidate at the end of the evening.

Parking will be available in the Government Building parking lot across the street, and along all adjoining streets. Bottled water will be available for those in attendance with no other amenities planned.

If you wish to meet the candidates, ask questions or just listen to what each candidate has to say in an intentionally non-   partisan environment, you will not find a better venue.

Confirmed candidates include: Dennis Linthicum, Kirk Oakes, Russ Dunn, Greg Taylor and Vicki Elam.
