Subject: Field Burning - Emergency Action Needed – EVEN AFTER HOURS OR OVER THE WEEKEND!

Sent: Jun 26, 2009 5:23 PM

I just spoke to Roger Beyer and we're in a tough spot on field burning as of late this afternoon.  Speaker of the House Dave Hunt who has consistently indicated his support for the grass seed industry, changed his position today on field burning.  As you likely know, the field burning bill passed the Senate and now will be up for a House vote sometime between this evening and Monday afternoon.

The vote count is razor thin.

We need you to act right away! As soon as you finish reading this message!

Please contact Speaker Hunt's office either by phone or e-mail.  You need to ask that he not abandon his commitment to the grass seed industry on field burning.  At one of the worst economic times in the history of this industry, we need his support ... we need him to maintain his commitment to us ... and we need him to oppose the field burning bill.

Don't delay, please contact Dave Hunt's office right now.

Speaker Dave Hunt
